We have a simple Vision that forms the basis of our purpose as a church. The one thing only that we are about is:-

CONNECTION

Connection To God

Jesus said that we are to love the Lord our God with all out heart, with all our soul, with all our mind and with all our strength. This means that we are to love God passionately. As a church we exist to help people to connect first of all to God. All of our activities, our preaching, teaching worship and every connect group is all about helping people to love God with everything in them.

Connection To Each Other

Not only do we want to be known as a people who love God passionately we also endeavor to love and connect to each other . The Apostle Paul said in Romans 13:8 “Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.” And again in Titus 3:2 “To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.” God does not want us as Christians just to love Him. He wants us to love each Other. Jesus said, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (John 13:35) Loving people in our church Community with great fervency is our second purpose for existence.

Connection To Others In The Wider Community Outside Of The Church Family

Jesus said, "In Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit", In another statement that Jesus made in John 10:10, He said, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly". Jesus is saying that the devil is here to rob people of life. The term "Make Disciples" really means bring them into right relationships. Our final purpose is to encourage those outside the church to have a great enthusiasm for life. To live life to the full and experience the great things that life has to offer. We believe the church family needs to connect with those outside the church. We teach and believe that people do not need to believe to belong to the church but, as they are helped and encouraged to belong, then they will believe.
